Trolly Makes Friends is a children's picture book written by Derek Savage and illustrated by Denny Bustamante. The book is notably the first children's book to be ever written by Derek. Trolly Makes Friends is the first book in the Trolly the Trout series.

The book is referenced in the 2015 feature film Cool Cat Saves the Kids (and its director's cuts Cool Cat Kids Superhero in 2018 and the aptly titled Cool Cat Saves the Kids: Director's Cut in 2022) where Cool Cat submits a story with the exact same premise and characters to a children's writing contest which he wins.

The book would later be followed up with Trolly Finds a Gun and Trolly and the Necklace, the former of which would serve as a basis for the 2013 short film Cool Cat Finds a Gun which would be later compiled into Cool Cat Saves the Kids and the aforementioned director's cuts.
